What are they expecting?
If you’re going to give them something different and better, lead with some more context
Otherwise they might think you don’t know what you’re doing
There’s an expectation gap in New Wave coaching
Be sure to bridge it
In The Wave, I say that “disrupting causes disruption.”
Sometimes “different and better” isn’t perceived by the players that way.
Sometimes they think you’re an idiot.
When they do, bridge the gap.
