Airbnb thought hotels sucked, so they let you into their home.
Matt Nichol thought the performance drink industry sucked, so he created BioSteel.
Spotify thought Pandora sucked… So they developed their platform to be at least 10x better than Pandora.
I think the old guard in coaching needs to adapt or exit the game for the betterment of the players, so I am doing New Wave Coach.
However noble the pursuit, you’re still going to stir shit up…

Who knows where my story goes, but right now I’m struggling to find a fit in coaching based on my views in the current state of the hockey coaching industry.
What I do know is…
When you fight the status quo, it gets ugly from time to time.
